Wednesday Recap

Ruse #1

Crossgen is back, huh? This is probably the only title I’ll be interested in enough to buy, but I could be wrong. I think Mark Waid wrote this around the same time as his ultimately disappointing Empire, and some of the dialogue is a bit clunky, but I will give it a try. And only 99 cents too!

Dodgem Logic #7

This is why we need to get some other reviewers on here to do mainstream books. Not only do I pick up a magazine with alternative cartooning from England, it originally came out during the holidays and is only just showing up in the states here. Me needing help aside, it’s worth a read, even for those Alan Moore fans disappointed in Neonomicon. Original prose pieces throughout the issue, and his collaborations with Kevin O’Neill help evoke some of the playfulness we first saw on display in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
